The guys in US are putting 5.5 inch OD x 10 inch springs in this things, i think any suspension shop can wind couple for you. source toyotacressida.netI'm heading down this path but not sure of lenght myself.

Whats a standard spring lenght for the MX73?

Aparently the MA61 springs are too soft for MX73- can anyone confirm this.

MX73 curb weight is about ~100kg more than MA61 so that's where the difference in springs being softer would come from.

I wouldn't mind softer springs in the sense that im after a comfortable ride so softer doesn't necessarily mean worse. What we have to remember is that the guys in the USA use their cars for drifting where ride comfort is not important and they use coilovers available easily in the USA.

You can always ask the shop to give you the spring rate you want.

Coilover dont have to be overly hard, depends how you set them up. spring selection etc....

If you want confort nothings beats the cressida boat setup.

If your interested, I've put up a set of Megan Coilovers on eBay, ready to roll. $850 at your door.

Sorry admin for hocking stuff off in the wrong threads...
