Default Differences between AE86 and TA22 stub axles

I am looking at getting AE86 BC Coilovers from my TA22. I have already spent a lot of cash making a big brake kit using my TA22 stub axle. I was wondering what the differences between AE86 and TA22 stub axles? and if the TA22 hub will swap over to AE86 stub axle.
I am looking at weld on coilovers too but I don't have the time to fit them anymore. I would like a bolt in option.

I'm looking at buying some AE86 Corolla BC coilovers for my TA22 Celica. I would like to know what the difference is between the 86 and 22 stub axles, are they the same can the 22 hub bolt on to the 86 stub axle. For memory the brake caliper brackets are different, are the stub axles thicker or thinner on the different models?

I thought the stub axles on TA22's was the same as RA40's. If so then the AE86 ones are smaller because the people that rally or race AE86's usually use RA40 front strut assemblies to use the beefier stub axle.

If they are weld on then it wont matter. You will have to cut your stock strut to weld the coilover on.

    different sizes.
as marcusesteves says a lot of custom AE86 suspension set ups use either the RA40 or MA61 strut along with the stub axle. you might be able to find a bearing that will fit but in experiance its either going to be too big or too small to be of any real use.

They are a straight bolt in replacement coilover I know they will bolt in at the top it is at the bottom were it bolts to the steering arm and the stub axle difference is what I'm after.

AE86 struts will bolt onto the TA22 steering arms. The angle of the stub axle is the same for the TA22 and the AE86. There is a thread on here that measures the angles
