    You are NOT going to be making 500hp without SERIOUS headwork. At the BARE minimum you will need a careful deshrouding, and reworking of the exhaust ports. I'd recommend different cams too (more lift), I'd also recommend O/S valve as well
    I've already decided to use the later GZE rods and pistons with 8.9:1 compression. I've also changed to a Kelford Turbo Cam as it better suits the combo and has better lift and duration than the HKS cams that I listed, as well as possibly oversized valves. I'm not interested in making 500hp, 250hp at most because it will mostly be street and some track occasionally.

    Would you say it's worth going with the oversized valves? I don't know of anyone who has results comparing the difference.

    Have you thought about a COP option instead of MSD with leads?
