AEM Classic Rally Nov 24/25 - Toyotas?

As a heads-up, I've decided to enter the "2012 Classic Rally - Retrospective 20th Anniversary rally" run by Automotive Events Management (AEM) on the weekend of the 24 and 25th of November. First time I've ever had the chance to enter, so hopefully it will be good fun.

If anyone's around at any of the stages, and I'm not busy, come say hi. Hopefully people will like seeing a 1974 TA22 Celica giving it a crack.

If anyone else is entered in a Toyota, I look forward to catching-up. If there's 3 Toyotas running, perhaps we could form Team Toyota?

Anyway, looking forward to having some fun and flying the Toyota flag. Hope there's some nice classics running and the anniversary event is all I hope.

You'll have fun, id like to do one of these but with the car needing serious work and not having enough free time to do it i miss out (again!)

All you have to hope for is its not going to be stinking hot on the day!

I'm in, and apparently there's a Lexus ISF. So, I'll be keeping my eye-out for another Toyota/Lexus entrant to see if Team Toyota can get off the ground :-)

That could be Jeff Ash (C-RED), he was in the AEM one-day rally Mullett and i did a year ago

Didnt get to see how he went as we were always on different stages

Getting close.

SPIDA got a tune on Friday, which sorted-out some low-end issues. And is getting the exhaust sorted. If I've got time, the adjustable rear swaybar will be fitted too.

They do get pretty busy I think. But Simon did a great job sorting-out some minor issues I had with the Wolf 3DV4. I've had trouble finding tuners in Perth either willing or good at tuning Wolf's, and he did a great job on mine.

Spectator stages
There are several stages which are suitable for spectators. In most cases they will run simultaneously with other stages which are not suitable for spectators.

They are:
Saturday:
Speed Dome, Eastern end of Eddie Barron Drive, Midvale – 10.00-11.30am
Pinjarra Paceway, Greenlands Rd, Pinjarra – 1.30-2.00pm
Halifax Rd, cnr Juniper Way, Davenport, Bunbury – 2.30-4.00pm

Sunday:
Kwinana Motorplex, Anketell Rd, Kwinana – 12.30-3.00pm
