Due to problems with the venue for our planned dates, we've been forced to cancel the first event of our Red Mist Series 2 due to insufficient time to complete all the planning required.
We are in discussions with another venue, while we still wait to see if the original venue can give us confirmed dates. It is most likely that we will however, be switching venues.
Once I've got details confirmed, I will post the new details.
The original 14th Oct date was moved to the 21st Oct, which has now also had to be cancelled. The only other date made available was our December date. But, at this stage, ALL dates have to be re-worked.
When the dates/venue is finalised, Series 2 will follow a similar format to Series 1, but consist of 3 events spread at once every 2 months.
We're also planning to incorporate some driver training by some advanced WA drivers into the program.

I've got a mate's buck's the night before, so I suspect I'll be a bit too hungover for this one!
At this stage, we've got the date confirmed although not exactly locked-in.
Unfortunately there is a glitch with the venue owners regarding dates on the Insurer's policy documents, that I'm trying to sort out in time to still go with this date. But it is getting tight, and will be dependant on getting things on the same page. I should know in the next few days, so until then I'm not officially opening entries, etc.
Organisation is sooooooo much fun.

The original "tentative" date for the first event was the 14th of October. This date was not available, and I've been trying to lock it in with Tiger Karts ever since for the 21st. This is why, when I posted this thread, I put the date as the 21st of October, both in the header and the details. So, I'm not sure why you say there's no info on this thread.
I've also since published a post stating that there's been issues getting our booking confirmed, which I'm still trying to sort-out.
So no, there is no event this weekend (14th Oct).
We are also going to postpone the event we had planned for the 21st Oct, as dated in this thread, due to the venue not being locked-in early enough, and still causing issues.
We are actually investigating switching to the RAC Driving Centre and the Skid Pan there, but this is still in the early stages of organising, so I cannot give any further details at this stage.
Sorry for the inconvenience, but this is what happens when venues don't want to lock things in early enough.
