try 7mgte 1s they are 440cc and will be big enough
hi,
Im having trouble working out what injectors I need for my new engine set up.
The engine has 92mm forged alloy pistons with around 10:1 ratio, the cams are Inlet 10.5 lift 288 duration, Exhaust 10.5/272 with adjustable cam gears, the head has been ported as far as possible with standard valves and is running on microtec lt10 ecu with a x4 ignition box.
i was wondering what injector would suit it best as far as a good spray pattern to suit the 8 valve setup, to match the impedance value or what ever that is i need and the right plug type. I think it has 7m injectors in it right now. but i will have to check.
everyone i ask seem to have no idea where to start. Does anyone have any advice?
Cheers Shea

7m injectors have a twin spray output pattern, and so will spray onto the port walls.
I recommend stock 22R-E injectors.
They have the correct single spray pattern, and will work just fine IMO.
440cc/min is massive overkill on an NA 2.0L motor.
...... butt scratcher?!
so it must be 2 big for my na 2 litre ,440 cc are just my inboards the out boards on my NA 2 litre are 1000cc
yr best bet will be mazda RX7 injectors. low imp, 460cc, single pintle top feed. brown tops. though they seem to big on my build, std ecu, so far.
i'll get the number as i have a set i used on my 18rgeu. even 4agze type would suit, i forget CC's
checking through my build forum, i have 240cc, 320cc and the 460cc all suited to the 18rgeu.
standard are 210cc which i have also.
i did do these comparisons for injecter sizes an while agao. hope they help. Or get onto a conversion app and try yr own.
18rgeu gives @125hp so
give it 50psi fuel
duty cycle 50%
= 28.41lbs /298.3cc injectors
giving that I can use 324cc inj / 28.55lbs
or go for 160hp with mods done on motor
.45 psi
.80 duty cycle
22.2/236.25cc inj
which means i can use 240cc injectors/
or 200hp
.50 psi
.60 duty cycle
41.67lbs/437.5cc
meaning I can use 460cc/43.77lbs
or 200hp
.45psi
.80 d/cycle
28.13lbs/295.31cc
meaning. Use the 324cc / 28.55lbs
