    Ceramic coating is an electrostatic process... very similar to powder coating.
    The object being coated is prepped, heated, electrically charged and then sprayed with a HVLP gun... then it is baked again.
    This is why you will commonly find spraypainters and powdercoaters that also do ceramic coating.
