    Hey all!

its taken until now for my account to be activated, thats why i didnt post before.

Just wanna say that for the majority of the time it was fantastic, great to see some old familiar faces, as well as some new ones!

Something that *slightly* disappointed me though, was the lack of effort from some of the vic guys. I do appreciate that a drive was organised and bbq etc, thats not what i mean. It was more the attendance factor. Last year there were more hachis, at the bbq and especially the track. Please dont take it that im pissed off at all, but i expected a little more effort, considering it only happens once a year.

People like fujiwara tofu and chad though, were probably the best vic hosts thanks guys

Something else, i wasnt impressed with the drift comp very much. It was great that leighton won, his performance was top notch as usual but thats not my gripe. Its the fact that it was all over so quickly...i didnt go to the prac on sat, only the comp on sunday, but still it was all over by about 4pm i think?!

well... i shall term this years event as "unforgetable" for various reasons, but my favourite reason being the company shared by all the 86ers.

I love you guys, cya next year!

Oh, and to all the people who said "next year ill come" you really should, you dont know what u missed!!!

car in the pic (pretty sure its ueo's) is running tomei reytec engine management. this uses a nissan optical cam angle sensor (same as sr20det).

so it needs the cooling, just like it does when fitted to an sr20, cos its a dirty datsun peice of crap

p.s i will definately come if you do the race.

but arch, this year we had more Vic ppl there then last year. i think it was more the attendance or others that was down.

me, stocky, jezza were all suprised at the turn out from Vic as it was up from the last year.

saying that, sure it could have been more Vic ppl. but the majority were there

The convoy heading south was 5cars short from last year Which wouldve made 34 on the day(if they all came again) But still yeah I agree with Arch. There could have been more melb cars. But most of the reasons I heard were cars not being on the road or being sold. So thats fair enough. But still.. if everyone (nsw/vic/sa/qld/wa/act) had their cars running and showed up we'd be looking at.. in excess of 60 cars! Imagine trying to get around town like that... haha At those numbers we could book out restaurants and get a group discount! LOL

    Hey gang,

Yep it's also taken me this long to get my account activated.
Much appreciated Arch, hopefully i'll lend much more of a hand in the bi-annual meets.

Looking back on it now, it was a weekend that definately stood out above the rest for my shitty 2005. Awesome time had. I was thinking of posting a couple of the pics up but my PC died so i'm using my crappy Mac laptop.

Here's the latest from me: Heads up Sydney, i'm driving up to NSW this friday (30th of Dec) and i'll give you guys a call once i'm up there.
I think i'm there till Tuesday or Wednesday it's unconfirmed at this point.

Andrew can u pm me your number?
Anyone wanna show me NSW hospitality and whre the hot spots for new years?

Haha i hope you enjoyed being showed the way of the 4AC land by me and Shtocky....

We normally go much harder than that too, soooo much fun.

Oh and I love the way the Chad is getting all the credit for the BBQ....I wonder who was the at 8:30am to make sure all went smoothly and to claim our land....

All in all it was a good effort for the weekend but yeah,

All you slack Victorian posers, get your cars out of your bedrooms and wipe the jizz of your Initial Dickhead vids and get to some meets!!!!

    Cheers,

    Jezza

haha Rally, PROPS dood. I loved the '86' sign on the way to the bbq too. Whoever did that...
The weekend was total overload. I admit i didnt talk to everyone and didnt get everyones names. But I made a few more friends over last year... So maybe in a couple of years I'll eventually get to know all of you well.

Its funny, Its hard to share equal time talking with everyone cause theres just too much going on! To all those I didnt chat too much, theres always next time and I apologise!

Hey Fuji, we should have a mini 86 meet while your up here! that'd be alright! are you bringing your 86 or you flying up or something equally as boring?

Bigben has realised the 4AC powah! i'll tell you what, coz i'm such a nice guy, i'm willing to swap engines with you, but you've gotta do the swaps. OR if for some reason you wanna keep your engine, when i get my gze i'll sell the beast 4AC to ya! best price. $34.50! bi a men.

    Hey AE86,

I'll be coming in a E46 BMW 325 Ci. I don't think i'll fit in with the rest of you guys though my heart belongs to AE86's

The signs were made by Paul (schtock) and i missed them as i was driving in.

Ben aren't u in KL now?
