Default 22re Blown head gasket, thoughts on chemiweld and the likes???? yes im crazy haha

    so hear me out first

im 99.9999% sure i have a blow head gasket in my corona, doing on the usual stuff, blowing the water out of the radiator ect ect, never got really hot thoe cause the low water alarm would go off and i would pull over and fill it up/go home and not drive it. got a leek tester/ co2 tester thingo off the local mechanic shop today and the liquid went yellow and was bubbling and stuff so i suppose thats a good indication, its only new, maybe 10,000kms ish. i did it all when i put the cam in, anyhow weather it was a super shit quality or my head or block were warped or i damaged it somehow, oil isnt milky, yet.....

so i was wondering what peoples thoughts are on the chemiweld/bars leaks other stuff, yeah i realise that they may fill my cooling system with a heap of crap, and yes its just a lazy mans fix and yes it wont last forever, and yes i may block some of the radiator tubes off ect ect. i would like to do a engine conversion of some sort one day but i was hoping to save up a bit more, so when it dose shit properly that might be a sign to start haha

just wondering if anyone has any good or bad experences or maybe just tell me im a slacker and to do it properly haha

Follow the directions to the letter and as you said keep in mind it is but a temporary fix.

I've seen the well known brand names used with good results. I've also seen them used with no regard to the instructions and they weld up a radiator quite well!!

Just don't leave that shit in your radiator. Don't drive for more than 30 mins, then drain and replace with good coolant.
A mate of mine replaced a headgasket on a Camry 5SFE that had seal up left in for 20,000kms. All but one water gallery was completely blocked up i.e. no coolant to the head...

p.s. I work at repco, Cargo Seal-up (green liquid with brown gunk), and Chemiweld (white bottle) are the two most common.

Yeah give 'em a go....i've used Chemiweld and yes it did seal up where the water was leaking out the back of the head but the brown residue / build up will remain in that engine until the end of time....no amount of flushing gets all of it out

    http://www.rislone.ca/catalog/view/3...sket-fix-31111
it was the most expensive in super cheap, so its gota be the best right? hahaha and its even more lazier, it reckons you can just whack it in with whatever coolant/water is in the system already all the rest said to flush it all out and have only clean water before you add the magic super fix it stuff, lets see how it goes haha
