Hey..

I know planning events can be a massive PITA.. but i havent been able to drive my car in anger for WAAAY too long now..

can someone PLEASE organise a motorkhana some point soon... either at AHG or Midvale...

I know the TECCWA series finished not long ago, but i dont care.. i need an event..

I wont be able to drive the soarer, but will take the daily out for a thrash..

In terms of events, i personally prefer motorsport events.. not much into stand around and admire style shows, or cruises that dont involve hills runs..

anyway.. just throwing ideas out there...

Your desires, as others, have been noted Stomps.

Mind you, the next Red Mist series will not be conducted at AHG or Midvale anyway, as we use Tiger Karts in Wanneroo, so that's unlikely to satisfy Stomps.

However, we'll be organising the next run of the TECCWA Red Mist Autokhana series soon, and will have an awards/BBQ in the next few weeks, not to mention Toyotas in the Park in Novemenber. Details to be finalised at our Committee meeting this week, hence why there aren't any threads yet.

It is in our plans to look at the odd event elsewhere, AHG, Barbagello, etc. But such events will be separate to the Red Mist series, and be subject to when I have time to organise it, unless other people step-up.

Happy for volunteers/members to help get other things rolling too - anyone? But things must be organised/run professionally if TECCWA are going to have anything to do with it.

Anyone who's tried to organise and get commitment from people to attend such events would appreciate the running around involved. And many ask for things to be planned, but never attend.

No worries Gene.. i know what you mean..

I will definitely be down for the next Red Mist series.. I dont know if my Soarer will be ready for the start, but i can always do the first few events in my Lib... I didnt enter last season because i was well cut up about killing the soarer and didnt know that Non toyotas were allowed..

I've organised plenty of AHG events in the past and would be happy to put my hand up to organise another one... as long as i get some interest from people here..

I'm another one who missed the Red Mist series due to scheduling conflicts early on and being more concerned with getting rid of my yellow sticker in the second half - very keen to drive the celica in anger again now

Might do that, only been around there once before so not sure how useful any tips would be!
