    Default Microtech x6 + bosch coil with stock ECU?

    Hi guys,

    I need some advice from all the 1jz gurus, Can i use microtech x6 with bosch coil to my 1jz(jzx90) stock ecu/ power FC? Just wire up based on the stock firing order? Or ?

    Are you connecting the x6 to the power FC or stock ECU?

    You should be able to use the Microtech X6 to replace the factory igniter, however if you are running the factory engine ECU you will need to 'fake' the IGF (Igniter verification signal) from the igniter to the engine ECU that tells the engine ECU that the igniter detected that the spark event occurred correctly. Sorry I'm not sure if you also need to fake the IGF signal with the powerFC, but my initial thoughts would be that you would not need to...

    Cuurently still using stock ECU buy i already bought PFC. i plan to use X6 with bosch coil because the stock coil and connector giving me lots of problem. As for the connector, i've changed twice and it breaks again...sigh...

    Wow, thanks for the info, I'm not very good in this but i will try to seek advice from my friends. hopefully i can manage to get it done...
