Same coilovers as in my car.... they do the job, but the greddy's would be much nicer.
Will you have the rear end sorted out before the next Hillclimb?
Current ride/s:
2007 Kawasaki Z750 (Daily rider)
1990 Toyota SX Seca 4AGTE "4AGE" - SOLD
1999 Subaru WRX
Lucky there's some time for sleep before the next hillclimb......
meanwhile, watch out for pink elephants crossing the road as you drive on the "ragged edge"
Good to see you're getting the issues sorted at record pace mate. A few good clutch kicks and that clutch will be run-in hey![]()

have you used 8/6 springs at canberra hillclimb before? i thought it was way stiff, maybe it was my noob driving and shit rear tyres then
Anastasios, I had 8/6 in my gold AE86 (recently crashed). It was fine. I could have done better maybe with softer springs, but I still managed a 48:81 with springs that stiff....
You just need practice.
Plus, this red car it a dedicated drift car, it it will be setup for drift anyway

As Jo Jo said 8/6 is not ideal , but is predictable. My recent experience having changed to much softer springs is that it is only very marginaly better grip . But makes the car a little lest predictable when it will let go . A fare bit more body roll and if anything a bit harder to drive on the limit for any length of time. More time on the track and better tyres are a higher priority at this stage.
