1G ones are on L/H side and would be upside down on a 4age (bleeder on bottom, cylinder contacts the bell). use 2tgeu, 4age, 3tgte etc. which are on R/H side.

Ok I can definately confirm there are 2 1G variants, one is LH and one is RH. I used the LH (passenger) one on my 1G bellhousing, and just got a RH (drivers) side one yesterday arvo from my supplier for my 4A bellhousing. They happened to have it as they'd just gone through the saga again with another customer, ordered a slave to suit 1G/w58 and got a drivers side first when the customer needed a passenger side one

And I doubt theres much difference in dispalcement between the W58 slave and the T50 slave, as I was driving around for ages with a TA22 master and a W58 slave and my clutch was working perfectly.

i would like to see proof that there is a 1G (any 1G) that comes with a clutch slave on the R/H side! this i have got to see. clutch slaves are pretty much always positioned opposite the exhaust side. and all 1G variants have exhaust on the R/H.
sounds like the supplier got the wrong slave and passed it off as a R/H 1G slave which i believe does not exist. i would love to be proven wrong.. this would give us a new source of 3tgte bellhousings!!

Yeah it is a bit odd, thats twice now ive come across a 1G slave thats on the drivers side. I'll ask my supplier when im there next exactly what model the drivers side slave came out of, but I know the first time I ordered a slave and got the drivers side one Im sure I asked for a GA70 supra...

Anyone have any fitment issues with the niteparts bh? I fitted the engine and gearbox together today and the clutch fork wont move once its all bolted up.... took some measurements between the niteparts and my 1G bellhousing and it seems where the pivot ball bolts on the niteparts one sits 8mm higher, affecting the pivoting of the clutch fork. Gerrard is going to take it to work tomorrow and see if one of the guys in the machine shop can mill it down 8mm (the boss on the bh, not the pivot ball!)....

OK, thought I'd just add to this thread rather than start a new one (its been going for a few years now )

I was wondering if anyone was interested in doing another group buy for the nitepart’s bellhousing or does anyone have one that they want to sell ?

forgive me for sounding like a total douche.....i heard that a 21rc bellhousing will fit a 4a-w5x setup, is this true, if so wouldnt it be easier and cheaper to source one of these than a brand spanker from nz?

again apologies as im just a little confused, and still deciding whether to upgrade my from my w50.

    cheers

p.s. mods, if this is in the wrong section please move accordingly.

R series and A series engines being identical bolt patterns?
