MX32 - 7MGE, anyone with first or second hand experience?

Hi all..

Tired of the MX32 I picked up a few years ago sitting around waiting to come up in the project queue.. so I thought I'd spend a week or two making a good driver of it..

MX83s are cheap like borscht around here, so I figured Id snag a good runner and drop the 7M in complete with its auto trans.. Wiring doesnt bother me at all, just looking to see if anyones dropped one in and can comment on sump/crossmember, exhaust/steering or motor mount issues?

In my wildest dreams, the 4M and 7M sharing a history, the 7M would bolt-ish in.. mechanically.

sump and oil pick up from the 4m will fit the 7M, so no issues there, 4M mounts will fit the 7M so no issues there, just wether the headers got in the way really. I would reckon the gearbox x/memeber would need some mods

this is just coming from having a 7M in a Crown that should of had a 2M in it

Oh Toyota.. thank you so much, hah. Thanks for the info.. shortly after posting this, I realized Id forgotten all about the 4M powered Supras.. managed to find a few threads elsewhere on the webs confirming it all fit in them.

Guess Im buying a MX83 this weekend.. (for chrissake dont tell the wife).

Thanks for the reply Stitt.. ps, your Crown is friggin badass. I know where a couple Crown sedans are stashed in a backyard in town.. If my project queue ever gets cleared up, Im heading for them.
