    Default RT40 short stroke shocks...

    So I've lowered my Corona 3" in the rear and nearly 4" in the front and the shocks aren't happy about it.

    Does anyone know part numbers or what other model cars shockers I can use in the RT40 once it's lowered?? I tried talking to my local suspension shop about it but they weren't overly helpful...

    I doubt you will find short enough shocks off the shelf.Holden shocks from EH to HZ,LC to UC Torana are the same.My 1600'S from years gone by was lowered 2" or so and that was pushing stock aftermarket shocks and that was in the mid 80'S when there was an abundance of these type of shocks.

    Talked to Suspension City in North Melbourne? By all reports they seem to be old car friendly and are likely to listen and chat.

    It looks like I've got it under control. Turns out that the Corona takes the same shocks as a HT/K/G Monaro so I've located a set to suit those that should do the job.
