Default standard height springs short stroke shocks RA23

Ok well im about to put some rather large wheels and tyre's on the 23 (245/60/15) and Im gonna have to raise the ride height for clearance. The car has lowerd springs and shocks atm and i have a pair of std height springs, can i just put the springs in or would i have to get some new std height shocks? whats the worst that could happen?

    It should be fine.

In all 'proper' spring/shock combos the spring is held captive by the shock not having enough length to extend (this = good). With your setup this will still be the case only that there may be more force on the shock - but since your using standard springs then I seriously doubt it. Besides, when you put the car on the ground you would think all of the presure is removed from the top of the shock anyways.

The only thing you may encounter is problems compressing them enough to get the upper spring perch on.
