Default 1ggte wiring help coils and injectors

hey all just wanted to know if anyone cna help me with wiing up the coil packs they are twin coil packs do i run them as pairs for spark?
and how do i wire up the injectors in pairs as well as the computer only has 4 injector outputs and also do i need to run a relay for the fuel pumps or can i just wire it up thru the ignition with a fuse any info will be greatly appeciated many thanks

    what ECU?

if using twin-post coil packs (e.g. waste-spark) they are paired up as:
    1-6, 5-2, 3-4

as you don't have 6 injector outputs, then yes they are paired up as per Wilbo's correction below.

Fuel pump should NOT be fed direct from the ignition key or powered up from the key only. Any ECU worth using will control the pump for you. It will have a fused supply that's relay-controlled by the ignition key (e.g. only on when key is on IGN or STA) and that supply is then fed thru another fuel pump relay that's controlled by the ECU (that relay is known as the Circuit Opening Relay in a factory setup).

Injectors should be paired in firing order Charles!

    i.e. (1,5) , (3,6), (2,4)

ok got the injectors and coils sorted +1 to you guys for the help
just with the fuel pumps, can i just run the positive wire to an aux ouput on the ecu? or how of i go from the ignition thru the computer then fuel pump
im new to this wiring stuff but wanna give it a crack myself

no never pull high current directly from the ECU. In any case, the aux output to trigger a relay is usually a ground anyway.

You build/modify/add stuff to your wiring to do:

    1. batt -> EFI Fuse -> Big relay (this provides power for EFI system, e.g. the fuel pump, injectors, ECU, igniter ... some setups spread this over two relays with inj & spark on one and ECU on the other)

    2. batt -> existing fuses -> ignition key -> IGN & STA -> coil in Big Relay -> ground (this turns on the Big relay above)

    3. ECU aux ouput -> coil in FP relay -> Big relay high-current output (ECU grounds the aux output to turn the fuel pump relay on)

    4. Big relay high-current output -> FP Fuse -> FP Relay -> Fuel pump -> ground (power for the pump)

If you were running a substantially larger pump than normal that might pull over 20A, then you'd probably provide a high-current fused supply direct from the battery instead of via the main EFI fuse - but you then have the risk of a permanent voltage source at the FP fuse whereas the above setup kills power to all the EFI system via the one fuse & relay.

Let me know if want the above as a schematic.

edit: link to stinger manual if interested
    http://www.enginemanagement.com.au/d...r%20Manual.pdf

it has examples of how to wire up various inector & spark setups - it's also the worse manual I've encountered ... not even page numbers.

    Attachment 14929

this is how a mate did his on his rotor
he suggested to run single relays for everything to save stuff drawing on eachother high up in the revs does this sound right?

can't see the attachment but it's sounds a bit overkill unless you are running lots of high current devices flat out all the time.

The setup in the RA65 will be:
    - EFI #1 & #2 fuses (#1 for the injectors & ignitors, #2 for the ECU/Wideband/Tacho booster)
    - Circuit Opening Relay re-used as FP relay

Other added devices (cruise control, Arduino for oil & voltage display) come off the existing IGN circuit.
