Ta22 Celica Fuel line. Is this a filter?

Can someone tell me what this is?I took out my Petrol tank to check it, and was going to blow out the fuel line when I saw this white"filter". Is it a filter, can I get a replacement.

i cannot saw correctly where hoses going, but in that place is usually tank air breath filter... if air is still going thrue.. no need to change it.. its that, if the hose just end under that plastic piece and inside the "frame tunnel"

one way valve or filter for tank breather.

yep there can be inside a one way valve.. havent check. when i test mine, and check, just blow to other end and it feels like filter, install that back like it was before and drive..
