Hmmm might have to just be patient and find all the 18RGEU gear...

just on the solex carb - they don't weld very nice, there similar to a die-cast alloy... i definitly would not try and modify the carb body...

i would definitly 'just' make the intermediate manifold that the carbs bolt to, that bolts to the head, house the injectors..

you will need access to a mill so you can drill the correct injector bosses into that, i beleive that lower manifold is just cast alloy, like a plenum, or cylinder head etc.. there might be enough thickness in there..

having said that - it might be just as easy to draw the manifold plates required, have them cut, get some alloy tube, cut to length, 4 bosses.. and have someone that knows what your exactly after simply make a new intermediate manifold... you can't 'just' weld in bosses, and 'just' whip up a fuel rail out of extrusion... well you can if you know what your doing.. it needs to be very very accurate...

BUT if your going to all that trouble... i wouldn't use the carb bodies... i would just use some 20v ITB's, or GSXR ITB's etc...

The Idea of using the carbs was to save money and not fork out $600+ on ITB's though =P But I did think of welding the bosses to the manifold rather then to carby so that they retain there look. I'll look into it more anyways, it won't actually happen for awhile, but when I start I'll document the process on here.

MarcusEstevez. I am in process of similar project for my 2tg/3t i'm building and lucky enough to have access to welding and machining facilities. I will be using silvertop 4age itb's and a 2tg manifold though for my TA22.

I'm jealous you have access to those facilities! Way to rub it in ;P hehe. Difference with your project though is your using actual ITB's, I'm making mine from Carbies to retain the 'Carburetted' look.

Well good luck with the whole thing, I'd love to see how it turns out. I'll give this a go once I have a better understanding of how EFI works etc etc... I appreciate all the help everyone.
