It seems some parties involved in organising these events arent above spreading heresay and rumours to discredit the opposition. If anyone else received PM's today containing unfounded (as yet unproven ) accusations about Adam Drake and it is making you reconsider his event I suggest you look him up on facebook and talk to him yourself. You wont find a more genuine enhusiast.

i feel i must respond to some of these comments here, as i'm probably the best qualified, as i was one of the organisers last year, and this year. Adam was not the organiser or promoter last year, NSWCC was, and still is. Yes there was a falling out with Adam, which resulted in him leaving, and a new committee formed. The club is not in crisis, in fact going, and growing strong. As far as parties spreading hearsay, i know nothing of, but you can send the pm's to me and i can deal with them. But as far as discrediting the opposition, i'd like to know what you mean there. My position in the club is the head of the motorsport committee, so i know everything that happened last year, and have the paperwork, bank account details, text messages, and saved web pages to back up EVERYTHING that i say. This is a police matter, and best left at that.

This years Temora event will be bigger and better than last year, we already have some heavy hitters lining up. I'm certain the 300k mark will smacked rather firmly as well..

I too have cancelled my Accommodation in Temora and will no longer be attending the event, based purely on the attitude of the new organisers. I have been involved in motorsport for 30 years and have never seen such a vagrant display of immaturity and childishness. I know a good percentage of last years entrants through racing circles or the internet. I think you need to understand, that all of the Temora entrants I have spoken to, do not care about the politics behind the scene's. All we want to do it is pay our money and race. Sending PM's on forums and emails to people to spread stories, true or not, is very sad. I believe that that opinion is shared by a substantial number of others as well.

Perhaps you are threatened that the someone may organise a better event than you elsewhere?

I have known Adam now for over 3 years through World Time Attack Challenge and the Temora event. I couldn't care what he has or has not done, but it now or in the past. Perhaps you should spend more time organising your own event and stop worrying about what others are doing and you may be able to build it into something close to what Adam achieved last year. The majority of last years entrants from the Temora event have seen your attitude, and quite frankly, most have laughed and/or face palmed that people could be so sad and childish.

I will be supporting the new event 100%. I will also encourage all I know to attend it, be it to compete or spectate. I will be taking my media connections (that were at Temora) to the new event as well

As you were an entrant last year, check your entry, and supp regs. The The promoter and organiser of the event was, and still is NSWCC. Anyone who organises any events on any scale would know it takes more than 1 person. Adam was part of a team. That same team (minus Adam) is still on the job. I'm still unaware of these mysterious PMs. They either don't exist, or people are afraid to put their name to things. I would be very interested to see them. I am also very curious about my attitude.. seeing as though i have only posted up about the event. I'm on here under my business name, Gensport. I too have been working in the motorsport industry about 30 years. i don't hide under any other pseudonym. I would never tell anyone to not attend this event in favour of another. That sir, is childish. At the end of the day, i don't care what your opinion, or who says what (especially when you can't provide proof) i'm here for the motorsport.

NSWCCinc has a huge silver trophy for the 300 club. this trophy will be kept in the Temora Aviation Museum, as a shrine to those who make it. And those that do, will get a trophy to take home, plus some memento's as well.
