I'll be there with my st162
10 days to go until Winterfest!
Don't forget we are also incorporating a swap meet into the day. Bring along any parts you think your fellow enthusiasts might be interested in, bang a sign on them next to your car, and you might go home with more money than what you started the day with.
so what would you rather me bring the 28, 23 or a trailor full of parts, and no, there isn't a tow bar on either.
no donuts and coffee sunday, cruise would have been favorable. seem's TCCAV doesn't have cruise's unless
destination is a club event.

Bring which ever one is most shiny Pac.
And it sounds like you would like to stand for the vacant position of Social Secretary at next month's AGM so you can organise a cruise.
I look forward to your contribution immensely.
definetly something club could discuss next GM, cruise's are a big part of all motor clubs and seem's to have been lost to static display's at TACCV, how many times can you look at same car in a car park!. I'm sure we all would rather cruise together to a
lunch meet, then check out under the bonnet. Narbethong pub cruse was 6 months ago thanks to brendan

I'll vote for you Pac![]()
I reckon the CC&D meets are perfect. Gives various members from all parts of Melb a chance to show off their car. Plus for the regulars it's a good chance to catch up and talk crap. I can't really make the monthly club meets at the pub so this way I can nick out for 3-4 hours on Sunday morning for a quick blast and a coffee. I pretty much never check out the cars anymore and only if it is something new or special.
As for cruises, you should have come to CC&D last month where Matty and a bunch of the guys drove from Brighton down to Sorrento for lunch after the initial meet.
I'll vote for you as well Pete![]()

I'm looking forward to it.
vote 1 for pete
just a suggestion though
if we cant fill the spot off social secretary
maybe we can spread it over a couple of people
or have a social committee for the want of a better word
i would put my hand up to help
nostalgia is not what it used to be:
all good thoughts. a couple of volunteers would be even better than a single person carrying the load.
for now though, lets keep this thread to the topic at hand which is winterfest!
I hope everyone has spent the weekend polishing their rides for next weekend![]()
i like the support guys but i'm torn between two club meetings on same night and time each
month, its a struggle to attend both so your position for social sec would be better served by someone who can attend meetings more regularly.
I can offer suggestions on destinations as i am experiencing some great roads already tracked by my ducati club rides.
i like Ian's point of view of having more than one person overlooking the social part of the club.
my suggestion, evey meet discuss ideas on a cruise.
as an example we northeners meet at mac eltham, have a coffee and chat then go to the organized coffee and donuts , alternatively we change to a cruise together, and possibly add a lunch destination.
