Default What do do with auto choke whith new extractors?

Im about to put on these new set of extractors and they dont have the holes for the automatic choke? Should I get the exhaust shop to drill in two holes or should I scrap the auto choke and go for manual choke, im in a bit of a pickle becuase this 32/36 weber im puttin on doesnt have the holes like the stock one?

    Cheers,
    Callum

The weber should have a water heated choke that can normally be connected to your heater hoses. You can also convert your weber to electric choke if the original carb had electric choke.

My weber has the gold connector on the side so id assume it has an electric choke, next question what goes onto that gold connector seeing that the stock one uses heat from the extractors.

You need to have a power wire connected to that gold connector, that only has power when the engine is running. If you have a charge fuse then join a wire into the regulator side of the charge fuse then run it to your electric choke.

Use a wire that can handle around 10 amps so it doesnt get hot.
Are you using the weber now or standard carby when you tried to run it with the pipes from the exhaust disconnected?

Not the best place to get power from as it can reduce the the power of your spark.

The horn will have power to it all the time, even when the ignition is switched off and your battery will go flat from the choke drawing power from it while the engine is turned off. Try hooking your choke wire up to the ballast resistor on the battery side so you have 12 volts.

ok now a new problem, its not changing gears properly, and if it does its when i let off the throttle, and whenever it gets into third i accelerate i little and it drops down a gear. i did have to change the throttle U bracket of the stock carby and chuck it on the weber since it was on a manual and didnt need have the hole for the throttle return, does it need adjusting at the two bolts?

if anyone is confused i can take a pic
