Instead of impedance, I think you mean resistance. Impedance refers to inductance, a different electrical property exhibited by a coil of wire.

Using a Mutimeter to test the resistance of an airbag is a great way to remove parts of your anatomy ! Your lucky most meters are a little low powered to set one off, but only just.
Testing the loom in the car with same meter wont tell you much, asside of a ruff voltage. Quite possable puter will ping a bag to see if its been deployed/functioning ok. Just pull the globe in the dash.
Call up your Suzuki dealer and ask them what resistance their scan tool shows for each airbag you want to remove. With the cars I work on (Holden/Saab) you can see what resistance is in the circuit at the time (live). They should be able to tell you what resistance the ECU looks for.
