    Default 4agze running rich?

    hey i have a ae86 with a mr2 or ae92 4agze.
i want to engineer it but i need to get around this running rich issue
before it used to hunt a lot at idle all the time but i fixed that due to a broken vacume hose
now it just does it during warm up. and idles fine after.
but the spark plugs look like they are burning rich.
like the pick i have below (if it works)
and i have another 2 4agzes and had a look at their plugs and they are the same.

is there anyone who has spark plugs look like these on their 4agze (below if it works)

What modifications do you have on the engine?
Have you checked your oxygen sensor?

Two flashes then nothing? It should repeat the code over and over until you remove the jumper wire in the diagnostic port.

    Plug too cold?
    'engineer'?
Guessing that it's been sitting/idling a lot & cold started & run intermittently & not fresh off a WOT dyno run, the plug looks normal for any engine that hasn't been under a load, BUT all those aluminum like specs look like some examples of detonation or pre-ignition.
