VL turbo/VL/Camira pump is a cheap, common, external pump which springs to mind.
My one supports 110rwkw from a 4AGZE.

hai guys
Im part of a group building a westfeild roadster, with a silvertop 4age. Im wondering what out of tank fuel pumps we could use with the stock ecu and management. we dont have the original ae101 pump as we got the motor out of a halfcut. I know the pressure
needed byu the silvertop (cant remember it of the top of my head) so what are some other pumps flow rates and output pressure.
dont whing about doing a search because I have![]()

This gives you a bit of an idea...
Apparently they're good for 300hp
AFAIK the VL pump is the norm for use with GE conversions...
You could pretty much use any high pressure pump out of a fuel injected car. I originally used a pump out of a magna, but it was a bitch trying to find fittings to suit it. I eventually found fittings after spending about three hours at the wreckers pulling tanks out!
One of the big advantages of a VL pump is its adaptability, it has a 10mm inlet (low pressure)and an 8mm (high pressure) outlet which the hoses slide over and held in place with a hose clamp.
They are also cheap and very easy to get, i think i paid about $130.

7MGTE, GT4 ST205, MR2 Turbo, all work fine as well if you want an intank one
nope, its a custom tig welded tank. gotta be an out of tank one.
going to go with VL, is there any other ones that we could consider?
wouldnt bother,
there wouldnt be one more common, or cheaper than the VL unit
does the job very well, no need to worry about it
