Avatar Pic wont work

I cant get my Avatar picture to upload keeps saying "upload of file failed" or some such thing.

Can someone please sort it for me.

i'd just resize it and see what happens

ive done that about 16 times,i tried it at 16Kb and it still wouldnt work.

i know you only need 30 rep points to have a avatar but are you priviledge enough.

maybe its the type of file.

well there was about 10 pics on that link you supplied send me the pik and i will try post it as my avatar, then ill change it back.

heres how i got it done.

click on edit avatar

then select browse

search for your picture

select it and then click on save changes.

dont worry about resizing your picture it should do it for you as my current avatar is 144kb

make sure you have the custom avatar selected

I find if I link my avatar pic from photobucket or imageshack inseatd of from a file on my PC it works no matter what size the pic is. I also could never get a file from my computer to upload

go to quick links(look near your PM box)
click on it
select edit options
let the page load
look at left hand side for edit avatar option.

and its all in ya face from there

Its not there man.

Everything BUT EDIT AVATAr

Maybe they haven't updated the database ,cause now i got 30 rep points.

Hit the user CP link at the top of this page. Edit avatar is in the list running down the left side of the page

read carefully. or contact a mod maybe one of those admin people wont let you have a avatar, i dunno dude but it should be there
