    Default Electrical problem with Celsior

Hey fellas my dad has a problem with his celsior, here is the story. While fixing power steering fluid leak the only electricals disconnected were battery and air flow meter. later on he decided to put windows back up so he reconected the battery. Now the windows don't work an the ignition lights, indicators etc don't work but heads lights and ignition work. Anyone have an idea as to what the problem could be?

    Cheers

the most obvious would have to be the fuses.

perhaps there is an accessory fuse thats blown. that may run the various different circuits that you refer too.

check all your fuses in car and under bonnet to see if any are blown. best to check em with a test light on either side of the fuse.

Check the 15 amp "dome fuse", located in the long box behind the battery.

We regularly pull that fuse to prevent flat batteries, when doing door intrusion bars, and window tinting. The systems you mention, are open circuited by removing the dome fuse.

    cheers Chuck.

Cheers guys, turned out to be a fuse the one you mentioned Chuck. Now I can't believe the bad luck we're havin with it but we got a auto electrician to come round and install an imobilser, when he cut the ignition wire an starter wire the automatic adjustment on the steering column stopped working after reconecting the wires. checked to see if it was fuse but they are ok. The sparkies not even sure bout this. Anyone know?
