Default Hilux 96 what tyres please?

    Hi there

I have a 96 TOYOTA HILUX XTRA CAB PETROL 4 BY 2 (AUTO) and I need recommendations on new tyres. Currently I have Goodyear GR2 195 14r C tyres on them that I wanna change ASAP as they are baldy...

Need grippy quiet tyres... dont tow at all really..

    Any advice??

    Ta In advance

Best to talk to your local tyre shops, have a budget in mind, the biggest problem is leagl issues due to it being a commercial vehicle you are stuck with Light Truck tyres, which are hard in the side wall and the tread is usually not much good in the wet.

The best tyres I have ever had on my work ute (hilux 2wd) were bridgestones, can't remember the exact code though. All light truck tyres are shit in the wet though. As for stopping make sure your rear brake bias valve I working right too, they make a huge difference if not right.
