Yeah a bit, the buyer had paid for them a while back and i didn't want to push the favour too far so came to a point where they had to come out.
True true, other than major inconvenience by the side of the road I guess while they try and pin you for something cause they are c0ckheads out of the nearby academy, usually accompanied by a disgruntled senior officer with a chip off their shoulder. Geez i'm starting to sound like a cop-hater lately
Premature sale of the old setup mate?

I've had cockhead RBT cops driving towards Sydney one evening for work I was doing later that night, in my liberty which is essentially stock. Pulled over for routine RBT.
They had some extra officers there with a handheld tablet doing rego checks on all the cars, got me out of my car and told me I had to leave my car there the night and wait for canberra connect to open the next morning because they couldnt pull up my ACT details but got a hit when the car was regoed in NSW for one year, just because they didn't believe the car was legally regoed in ACT even though I was able to show them my ACT license and proof the car was mine.
luckily their superior overheard me when I was on my phone to my parents to come pick me up and told me to not bother about it and make sure I always carry rego paperwork on me, to which I refused based on ease of theft. Still let me go in the end.
If they cant get in contact with ACT authorities if they think your car is suss, it's likely they won't let you continue to drive it.

only saying based on experience, no bullshit at all dude. Probably why they ended up letting me go since they knew they were treading a fine path. I'm not the kind of person that looks like they are nothing but trouble either, nor is the car I drive, its a 6 year old family sedan!
Bloke I bought my adub off, his old man frequently drives Huntley and I believe is on their committee, Les is his name. Taking the adub out of his garage gave him more space to restore his Cortina he is building as a hillclimb monster.

I watched a few vids on you tube of the Huntley today.
It looks like a really boring track with minimal spectator viewage.... It's also very short ie 30sec laps
Not really sure if its worth it.

Yeah it's short but quite steep and some good bends. Not a lot for spectators though, I went to check one out at end of last year. They were pushing the cars through quick so should get a few runs, only a handful of people at the club meet.
Agreed Joe, its uphill drag racing.
I'm so envious of the Europeans, they know how to build a hillclimb track, not this pissy stuff we do here up people's driveways
