dumbass running sta/nsw pins right is exactly fooling ecu, unless it has separate park/neutral pins

it's not really fooling the ecu
it's actually wiring it up like factory
so I don't class it as fooling
older ecus have one pin missing on
manual ecus compared to auto ecus
so just like wiring a manual ecu with no
    so basically no nsw pin
there is nothing else u need to do

I was more concerned about functions the ecu does with the speed signal that could effect performance.

    doubt it will effect much
the ecus arent as smart as compared to what we have these days
might affect mixtures slightly at cruising speeds but u prob wont even
    notice if its running properly

Could this be bad with a boost increase? Plan to have all the basic power upgrades and run 15/16 psi of boost but only when i have it running nice with the factory boost setting of course. Was planning to have a air/fuel gauge installed anyway. Have finally got my engine mounts, Would you believe $218 brand new from Toyota imported from japan! Just have to paint engine bay, trace 12 more wires and plumb it up and can finally have this thing running

Yes you will note major change in performance. It will go past 180 now :-)
