Hehe, didnt think you would ever go turbo! My current list of things that are on the way before the next event:

Cold air box w/pod and pipework (big mid range gain with stage 1, stock airbox is SHIT and stock intake pipework is terrible!, typical 'make it quieter' stuff)
Stage 1 tune (next thursday woot woot)
R comp tyres (waiting to hear back from someone)

    For the event after that:

    Stage 2 tune
    Turbo back exhaust

Was going to go stage 2 right away but am spending exhaust money on another set of wheels and r comps instead! Whats all that extra power worth if I have traction problems now?

i didn't say turbo, i said boost. Twin screw s/c perhaps. Lowdown response + torque is where it's at. Unless i win lotto and twin charge LMAO

That was a mad weekend for grassroots motorsport. There was a No Limits hill climb right next door at Jacks Hill, Plus the AEM superkahna and the TECCWA 'khana too. Cant have them all I guess.

I've done events at both venues and I have to say the TECCWA event was without doubt the best fun-to-cost ratio out there. I'll definitely be going back. Just probably not the next two though.... more scheduling conflicts.
That'll still give me the last 3 to make up 4 events to try and go for the class win.

Also - does anyone have any photos from the event of my car? I need to update my avatar.

yeah how many runs do u guys get tho? looking at the results, it seems like 4 runs for around $110 entry fee. We got 9 runs for $65(one session), 18 for $130(both sessions). Don't get me wrong the AEM events are good but bang for buck, i reckon the TECCWA events are pretty hard to beat for value. More runs = more time to tune your car and improve your driving.

Mullet - the only stuff i can find on "opcon autorotor" is fuel cells for hydrogen vehicles??

And I agree about the midvale events...I've been very disappointed with the number of runs each time I've gone there!

    Hi,

I've updated the Entrant list to include the times from the weekend, and am in the process of organising the rankings/calculations, but that will need to wait a bit longer as I need sleep:

    Results Sheet

NOTE: There are multiple tabs, so make sure you choose the right one for what you want to look at

Glad everyone had a great time, and that the weather was a bit cooler than it looked like being earlier in the week.

Damo, one day you'll make it along ;-)

there's no times on the sheet you linked gene hehehe

EDIT: i'm a blind tard, carry on lol.

Evo is too fast, i doubt i could ever catch it with my current car o_O

glad my times seem to be improving! brake balance settings have made me a lot more confident to brake later into the corners. I think the hot/sticky tarmac helped too! i noticed today there is bits of tar from the track up the side of my car
