Yes, I need to update the car types for some people (like me) who had to change/substitute at the last minute.

Glad you found the other tabs with the times for Jan, and the Rankings tab will have the series positions once I get it sorted.

I've updated the spreadsheet with the Top Gear rankings, including Nov times, and where drivers have changed vehicles (the magnetic white board will only ever show a person's fastest ever time).

It also has the Rankings tab, with a calculated score for the Jan round. To allow comparisons across courses and future rounds, the following method is used:

Time * (100/Avg Course Time) = comparison time

This converts a particular courses time into a time relative to 100secs using the average time for drivers on the course that day. All completed runs are then averaged.

Oh, and for those that care and were wondering, there was nothing seriously wrong with the TA22 (SPIDA). Seems there was a problem with a temperature gauge wire near the exhaust after I bumped it, telling the ECU the temperature was -27degrees. Once I checked the wires to make sure they were connected and nothing was shorting, the gauge read correctly and the car started and ran fine.

So, good news, and hopefully a bit more test driving in coming weeks will have it ready to be driven in anger in Feb.

Sorry about that, but when we chose dates so as to book venue and publicise the series, we checked the AEM dates and they didn't appear to clash at the time. Unfortunately, dates for other events aren't always publicised early and/or change. We do endeavour not to clash where possible.

Evo 8 i think. Yes phil was in his daily drive, climate control stereo and all. Was on "track rims" but i dunno what rubber it is. And it's possible because he's a good driver who knows that particular car very well.

Heh thanks Joshua, yeh Ben just the only spare tyres/wheels i had, fronts were Potenzas that used to be on teh track car, still street tyres but had no problem with understeer
Rears were the Bridgestones that normally go on teh front, worn and about 3/4 the width - that, 1600kg and not too much power meant it was pretty easy to slide and control

Gene - glad your car is up and going again. Wow i didn't realize soarers were that heavy! i thought 1400-1500kg tops. I'm looking forward to trying to break the 70second barrier, I think it will be tough tho.

    AFAIK it's an Evo 7:

    Stainless manifold
    PowerFC (no AFM)
    intake
    Exhaust
Evo 9 turbo (not sure on this)
    Coilovers
    Federal RS (the old ones)

The thread for the Feb 26th event is to be started soon. However, entries can be sent in at any time as we're always open to accepting paperwork for any of the listed dates.

The documentation on the first post of this thread is still applicable for each event, although the AASA permit numbers will change for each event.

Entrant List is still being tracked, including those who have already indicated they wish to run in multiple/all events in the series as per the Entrant List

The yellow columns have been refreshed to start processing entries, and those who've already entered are shown as S in the individual event/payment columns.

Dates are locked-in, barring insufficient numbers to run an event or another unexpected reason. There's no plans to shift dates around, especially when people already commit to dates as it becomes too difficult to keep everyone happy.

Plus the venue is locked-in for us on those dates.
