Ian you need to add times into these plans

Cut and pasted from last year's event as it worked well, though hurt cos it was so early.

Cruise to the event will depart from the BP northbound at Calder Park, leaving 7.30am sharp! It is always packed out the front as it's the meeting spot for every club going up there, so it has been suggested we meet around the back in the truck parking area.

Meet there from 7.00am if you are going to be wanting fuel for your car, or coffee for yourself.

We will leave as a group at 7.30am SHARP! This means we are leaving at 7.30am. Not thinking about going to get a coffee or fuel!

Stick together as a group, and just after we turn off the freeway we should stop for a regroup and collect everyone to make it easier for entry as a group.

If we get separated tell the organising guys you are part of a group and head for the oval.

NE group pre-meet up point - McDonalds Eltham 6am for a 6.30am departure. Cruise to BP Calder to meet rest of the group.

Sooo early.....but yes it's got to be done. I thought last year with all the Toyotas in a row looked awesome and really showed a good club presence. The oval didn't fill up until probably about 10 but we were all there front and centre by 8.30 . At least we also have clear access to get out at whatever time we want to leave.

what about us southerners (geelong werribee colac) any meet up point or just head straight to calder BP?

Go straight to Calder BP, don't sit around MacDonalds car park wasting time.

I am leaving Ballarat at 6.00 to get to Calder by 7.15 and l am not stopping for anyone.

If you miss everyone at Calder get your arse into gear and go straight up the freeway and go into the back entrance at H/R.

If Mr Bennett is leading the way to H/R we won't doing much more than 80-90K's....So you should be able to catch up.

For the first timers make sure you bring a big hat as you will get burnt.....

Good advice on the hat Rosco.......many a red face to be seen if the sun comes out in force....oh and bring water / drinks if it's gonna be hot and you don't want to stand in queues ....that said the catering is done by the Lions club I believe so always good to help them out.

Sorry if this is a silly question. The $20 entry for a car includes the people in it right? I'm assuming that $5 is for people who choose to park outside the designated area.

I can't remember if they charged for the drivers or not, but reading this Entry Fees doesn't help me at all!

Paul you are spot on.. we need to reverse in if we are going to park around the edge of the oval again. We did it in 2010, but failed in 2011. That probably had something to do with the marshalls directing us too.

This has been haunting me, but on the bright side, they will all be together so we can burn them all at once!!!!
