WD40 would wash off in 2sec.
Inox would last longer, but probably still not long enough.
So fish oil might be the go. Get it in a spray can, will be easier to coat everything with it.
Ahoy hoy,
I recently purchased a set of Tein Superstreets for the Supra. Because the threaded part of the body, lock nut and the spring seat are made of steel the kit originally came with an anti-corrosion spray. Because I bought the kit second hand, I didn't get this spray and have no idea what it was?
What would be a good alternative? WD40? Fish oil? Maybe something similar to that plasticy spray you put on battery terminals?
Any suggestions as to what I could do to prevent the threads from rusting up would be appreciated!
Cheers!

Vaseline would do the job as well.
Ensis fluid, sold by Shell can be bought in 1lt and 4lt cans from most Shell servos . It's a rust preventative. I have used it on exposed parts and on body panels and doesn't wash off and it doesn't smell like fish oil.
id say fish oil too that will last for ever

I covered the threads with duct tape on mine after I set the suspension up.
The other option that might work is the motorbike chain lube/wax shit since it stops rusting and lubes up the chain rollers.
Thanks for the suggestions fellas. I stopped by a servo to look for this Ensis stuff but couldn't find it. Think I'll grab some fish oil tomorrow, chain lube is also a good alternative now that I think about it!
Cheers!
i'd use the Belray motorbike chain lube. it's a white wax-like product, and doesn't pick up as much crap as the other lubes on the market (e.g. Motul chain lube).
SHEPPO..
You don't want anything that attracts dust, in an environment where all manner of sh1t gets thrown up by the tyres off the road.
I've successfully used Selleys "Ezy Glide" in the green can. Its teflon based and stays dry, benefit being you can still adjust your spring mounts without having clean any crud off.
Cheers
