Thanks from Pete and I to all for being so welcoming and the friendship. Thanks to all the helpers who toiled all day (and it was dam warm out there in the sun and in the pits) and didn't get to drive. Thanks Phil for managing our team and thank you Van for the invitation, great communication leading up to the event and being an all round (no pun intended van ) top bloke.

Hoping as many of you as possible make the trek to Goulburn for the Wakefield 6hr next August be great to get you all involved in that too.

Although its been said in previous posts I too would like to applaud the efforts of all who helped organise and volunteer over the weekend. In no particular order of importance I'd like to thank Van, Brendan, Darren, Tim, Emma, Eddie and his 2 sons, Luke and all those I may have forgotten. An awesome weekend made even better by the efforts of you guys to make it all run smoothly . Oh and my team mates, whether you ran or didn't run (sorry Darren) your efforts on and off the track made that tenth place finish such a sweet reward.

Thanks must also go to Sonya and the TCCAV for the t-shirts. It was an unexpected surprise to have these and absolutely added to the camaraderie and team spirit of the weekend. Cheers.

Bit of video of in car during the opening stint. Used Sony Vegas to edit the vid and its really cut the quality down, I'll have to find out how to edit it in the HD it was taken in.

You guys all did really well. The cars were prepped really well, the teams well organised, and the volunteers and the food/drink/shirt donaters (you know who you are) were certainly appreciated by all.

The only thing I'm thinking for next time, is to spread the timing load around a bit, as some of the volunteers were out there for near on 6hrs sat, and another 6 on Sunday.

There is really no reason why a driver can't time for a bit, so what do you guys think about each driver either timing for 2hrs a day, or organising themselves a substitute?

There were also reports of us writing obscenities on the lap boards on Saturday, but I'm not sure I believe that of any of us.

Fair call Tim. The part about well prepped cars probably means no excuses on mechanical distractions. I for one dipped out on timing so will be happy to put my hand up for a few stints next year.

Its just that plonking someone on the wall all day is a sure fire way to make sire they don't come back next year

really 1 person can time on their own, so as drivers we'd only need to time (or convince someone to time for us) for an hour each day.
An hour timing is fun. 6hrs is far from it.
