this is coming up quite quickly

nostalgia is not what it used to be:
I have just emailed all team members a variation of this email. Its time people got involved, got organised and paid up!
It is just under 6 weeks until the Winton 6 Hour and there is still a good deal of organising that needs to be done.
Up to this point I have been helping Van a little bit with organising, but as I won’t be attending the event and with work being flat out, I need to focus on other things, so this will be my last 6 hour involvement this year.
Any day now, the organisers will be asking for the complete entry fee, so if you have not done so, please contact Van Newman asap and ensure your payment is complete.
Each team has been sent their entry form. Make sure it is up to date pronto.
Team Corolla needs to work out a Team Manager, a volunteer, and a 6th team member.
Team Classic Japan (name change from Rising Sun) needs to organise a volunteer.
Grumpy Automotive Racing I think have everything in order, though I am not sure on the payment side of things.
Things you need to think about are
1. Have you organised your accommodation yet?
2. Have you got a plan for arranging numbers for your car?
Van was going to use the little bit extra in the funds to organise some catering, but I would suggest he needs a hand with some of that organisation, so it’s time to get involved and get it happening. For some reason this year team members have not been at all proactive in making sure things are ready for this event, and that is a bit of a worry for how things will unfold. You guys need to make the event happen for yourselves, no one else will.
Lastly “Team Corolla” is short a member again, so if any one knows any one keen on running, please let Van know asap.
I hope you all have a cracking weekend. I will be back next year in my own Corolla racer next year if all goes to plan.
Have they advised team numbers yet Adam?

official entry forms for Team Grumpy Automotive Racing are done and ready to send
I will submit each teams entries as I receive them
please get these organised asap so you don't miss your chance
The older I get The better I was
if the people who have only paid there deposit
dont pay the balance within a week, we will be dropping one team
and just have two teams made up from those who have paid in full
Or, handing the spots over to other car clubs that missed out on an entry

What's everyone doing for accommodation?
1970 2M MS55 Crown - Weekend Cruiser.
1970 2R RT40 Corona - Cruising Grandpa Style

It's a campsite / paddock and we bring a couple of 50m extension cords so we can hitch up to the power points and have lighting. Nothing too fancy but it's cheap, convenient and a good atmosphere.
