Default How do I plug Water Pipes reliably?

I have put Quads on a 16V and so have two unused outlets on the Water Bypass pipes that used to flow to/from the OEM cast Plenum.

I would like a neater (and less space-consuming) solution that just looping a hose from one outlet to the other and would like to know if there are plugs you can buy that will clamp onto the pipe (~ 8mm DIA) and reliably hold colling system pressure.

I am currently using some plastic bungs I got from Repco but I don't trust them. Was thinking of sliding a larger 10mm plastic bung over the 8mm item and zip tying that to form a double-skin.

Easiest and less time consuming would probably be cut section of tight fitting pipe with a plug in it. http://www.chicompany.net/images/04C03103.jpg

That doesn't really fit with his 'neat' solution though.
But yes, by far the easiest. I have about 4 hoses plugged like that on mine.
