just curious what the deal is on the language used on these forums.
I have read the faq and noticed a scan goes over the words periodically and replaces them with asterisks but how often is this done?
just concerned about some of the language i see in the non car discussion area 'tis all.

The Admin sets the level of alert for that.... I'm unsure what is is but can look into it.

that being said the language and written word are a great deal better now than on the old forums.

Seriously if you don't like the language you can use Neg rep on them, this is part of the idea of having it.

As long as you give Bad/Poor language as a reason people will get the Idea. I would advise that you rep the people who regularly use bad language in threads not just the one off's (unless it is really un cool)

I could throw a few educated guesses out there right here and now, but these things shouldn't be aired in a public forum (and it would be pretty much completely unethical to do so)

also i agree, since new forums have come along, everyone is alot more concious of what they write. i didn't use to re-read my posts but now i go through, check everything and make sure its suitable.
