What do you mean by ABS sensor?
Are you taking about the 3 wire speed sensor on the rear drivers side? (in a right hand drive car)
Cheers

Any chance anyone has a pinout for the ABS rear speed sensor for the A340 (offered on 1JZ and 7M as well as other Toyota models)
It's got a black, yellow, and red/black wire. I'm trying to figure out which pin does what.
Should be RR+, RR-, and PSEN.
Thanks!

Yes the three wire speed sensor that heads off to the ABS computer
Image is broken though, thanks!
Actually not sure if that's it, that looks like 4 pins, mine is three but the sensor looks the same
Ah, I'm not super familiar with them. I think they were on xA70 supra and it looks like xX8x Cressida, Chaser etc?
TSRM for MA70 says:
RR+ = Black
PSEN = Red-Black
RR- = Yellow
MK3 TSRM On-Line

Couple things have me confused though.
First, the TSRM you posted as well as the TEWD that I use show FOUR pins. The "ECT" pin also (which isn't on the sensor) .. should not have to be connected right? Since I'm using the 2JZ-GTE in the A70 body, and the 2JZ has the ECT computer integrated, and the 7M had it as a separate unit.
Next though, my sensor is either a replacement with different wire colors or the wires are severely faded. That's why I can't go by wire colors, I have to go by the pin numbers.
They look brown, white, black lol
Thanks Wilbo!![]()
What are you trying to do?
I'm guessing fit the A70 sensor to the new 2JZ-GTE A340E? Or trying to send the correct signals to the ABS computer from the new auto somehow?
Cheers

Actually using a 1JZ auto on the 2JZ as to keep the correct chassis signals, mount, and driveline. Using the 2JZ converter and bell. Also using 2JZ valvebody to retain connection to the ECM (JZA70 A340E uses a line pressure cable instead of electronically controlled, swapped it all out).
Just trying to get the correct wires to the correct place on the ABS computer. The ABS computer has the black/yellow/red&black/blue&yellow wires. As I said, I don't feel the blue/yellow wire needs to be connected as it goes to the ECT computer apparently (according to: http://www.cygnusx1.net/Media/Supra/...n/Main_106.gif) Maybe I'm reading it wrong?
So basically. I have the sensor and pigtail. I have the ABS computer and pigtail, but the colors on the sensor DO NOT match the computer or TSRM. So I'm seeking pin numbers.
Thanks!
I thought the wiring on the MA70 wouldn't have changed?
The pin numbers are on the diagram?
Cheers

I think I've figured it out, will need to test more tomorrow.
Pin #1) Signal
Pin #2) Power
Pin #3) Ground
Looking at the male connector.

I'm a bit confused, what happened to the body side of the existing MA70 wiring? I.e. why can't you trace back from the ABS ECU to the plug? Do you have some reason to think that the pinout at that plugs is an issue?
Trying to get down to exactly what you need and why?
Cheers

Hmm?
This is what I have.
[ABS ECU] -> [B3 Female] -> [B3 Male Pigtail] ...................... [Speed Sensor Male Pigtail] -> [Speed Sensor Female] -> [Speed Sensor]
Problem is that my Speed sensor pigtail/speed sensor wires are EXTREMELY faded (not crispy though) and I can't see the wiring colors. Trying to go by pin numbers only.
The problem with using the TSRM/TEWD for that is that they list FOUR pins, and my plug has only three. However the TEWD clearly shows pin #2 L/Y (non existent on my plug) going from the ABS computer to the ECT computer (not needed in my setup)
