All ages is our preference if we find a space that suits
I remember entering a MG concours that was at Heidelberg Park in early 80's and that ground held alot of cars.
The one thing is the location has to be central for everyone and are you going to open it up to all ages or just keep it to pre 85's?

So disappointed not to make it, but sounds like you guys really excelled!
I'd vote for pre 85, as there are already enough shows to see the 90's skylines, supras, Honda's etc.
But that might just be me.
chrome bumpers (or painted red maybe) cars only seem to be most popular.

What if my 1991 Cressida is in such poor condition that it looks more than 30yrs old?

I agree that the central location was a big drawcard. Yarra Glen Racecourse is a great venue, but it takes too long for those of us in the West to get there.
Albert Park would be a great location, but I'm certain the fees would be stupid money.![]()

As much as there have been some good Japanese cars in the last 25 years I still think the 25 year cut off rule should be enforced. It tends to bring out either original clean old cars or tastefully modded ones.

Yeah. I'd rather walk through 50 old cars to see 40 interesting classics, than walk through 300 old/new cars to see 40 nice classics![]()
I totally agree. With this kind of thing, it's quality over quantity that i think makes a good show. That's what i liked most about this one we just had. Pretty much everything there was worth a look. Hanging Rock, on the other hand, is just too big and needs stricter entry rules to cull the modern stuff.

they will be enforcing the 25 year rule at hanging rock this year ,

Probably out of the question and totally stupid but what about the Melb showgrounds? Are they available for events like this? The cost factor might kill off this venue, but then again I'm happy to pay 25 bucks to Hanging Rock so why not a similar entry cost ( 15-20 bucks) to secure a central venue like the showgrounds for our own organised show. Just my two bobs worth. No Ian, not two boobs!
