So i see, there designed for a heavier car I guess so that would explain the off tap stiffness.

Not that I was doubting you, but KYB don't have a listing....

I have never used pedders so if I said anything it would be a lie "no bull"

Yea no listing for ra65 front with the kyb which is uber gay as I wanted kyb's. You can use sw20 rear or st185's apparently but you have to cut down the strut 40mm or so, cbf doing that.

After a little more research pedders seem like there just rebadged monroe shocks so thats a definent no, looks like either koni or making the kyb's fit.

Pisses me of how companies can re badge and sell at a higher cost.

i wonder if ae86 fronts with fit the ra65?

    Monroe not an option?

Pedders can charge more cause there red!!!

If you go koni, try a place called "torper performance" or some crap like that.... Apparently they are an authorized dealer and are MEANT to be cheaper...

Monroe are an option but I have heard alot of bad stories about them.

Top performance was were I went for my quote, still very expensive, even 'trade' price was over $600 for a pair. Im sure there good but its prob a waste of coin for a street car.

Anyone know if ae86 shocks will fit a ra65? I google but there isnt much info, Im guessing they will but would be nice to have a 100% answer

According to this post ae86 shocks have the same od so they should fit, basically the same specs as the **63 which should be exactly the same as the ra65?

For the rear, you need to compare the compressed and extended lengths not OD. For front insert, yes, xA6x inserts are all the same.

Very good point, but honestly I really cbf doing a coilover conversion for my daily. With the setup im going to be running itll cost about half that and prob be just as good minus the adjustability ofcourse. I got Aurora springs, I wouldnt go near kings anymore, heard to many bad things about them.

All depends on what your after I guess.
