Any reason why you can't put the throttle body back where it belongs? I would hazard a guess the ECU won't like it being in the boot.
I have searched numerous forums, and begining to hate my car, LOL.
I have an AE92 MAP 4agze in an AW11. It has a N/A manifold and an SC14 on, with the throttle body relocated to the boot (dont ask LOL). Its got a 3sge tb on it.
It hunts at idle due to the length of intake and the overspec'd charge cooler core.
But my main issue is when you blip the throttle or rev it, it dies. the engine just cuts out.
I've tried turning the tps 180degrees, the same happens. tried a 4age and the 4agze tb on it, it cuts out, exactly the same. Tried setting the TpS, no joy.
What have I missed? IDeas/suggestions on a postcard!

Try unplugging the TPS all together as it will idle fine without it, it sounds like a vac leak to me, also with that long of a run to the TB I'm not suprised it doesnt idle well. Why dont you just run the NA manifold with TB in factory location with the SC pre TB
Because I didnt want the Riceness of a dump valve. lol!
The run isn't actually that long, but its all 2.5" so theres a lot of air space. Its not too bad 1k-1.5k hunting, livable on a track car. its the cutting out thats doing my nut! I'll have another look for leaks, and try the unplugging tps.
how's the base timing? what are you running the timing at?
What is the reason for using an N/A manifold?
Hey Ferral! Hows things?
Timing is set to standard, 10 degrees with the jumpers set. The cams are set to std location too
I forgot to mention there are no fault codes either!
I'm seeing the car next weekend so will try and get photos/video and more infomation.
