    so anyone got any idea, Im thinking it could work but just wondering as to if it will actually pick up the pressure reading

    There is no such thing as a mechanical presssure sender unless you are referring to the ones used for fuel pressure gauges so your not running high presssure fuel inyo the cab.
    To plumb a mechanical oil pressure gauge you screw a fitting into the motor and run a capillary line to the gauge. line can be nylon,copper or even -3 braided line.

    Thats what I mean sorry, wrong choice of words, my gauge didn't not come with one, it has a braided line fitting with a screw end for the sender/switch /fitting.
