You should be listening to those people. 1 of the best features of any mid engined car is it awesome traction. However, this could be a disadvantage to the car if it is fitted with a 'conventional' LSD. With the Quaife 'anti torque biasing' LSD the wheel with the most traction capacity, the outside wheel, gets sent the majority of the drive. If the LSD simply helps to join the 2 wheels together like a clutch style LSD does, then push under steer under power will more than likely be the case because even in tight corners the inside rear wheel will have reasonable traction capacity and will try and straighten the car when powering out of corners.

easiest way would be to try and find a second hand E153 gearbox with the LSD already in there.

Except he has an NA and changing to an e153 would require shafts and hubs etc and the ratios arent the best for NA

The only Australian company that I can think of that would be worth talking to is PPG. They don't list anything for the SW20 MR2's, but they sell anti torque biasing LSDs for the WRX's, maybe they just buy them from Quaife??? You won't know until you try I suppose. Failing that, email Quaife directly.
