    Default 2TC Performance parts

    Hi all,

Just wondering if the engine Code 2TC is the equivilant to the 2T in a TA22 celica 1974. As I'm trying to find out if the parts on Welcome To BRD Racing: Your Toyota 3TC and 2TC Performance Specialist would fit the 2T engine, it says 2TC and I'm unsure about the differences. I'm looking at the weber side drafts (BRD Racing: Toyota 2TC and 3TC carberutors) would they fit a 2T engine without much hassle? if so whats the hassle going to be like?

    Thanks alot!

    - Sirsh

yep same thing. Anything you find for a 2tc/3tc in the states should fit. the 3t is obviously 1.8l compared to the 1.6 2t so the pistons are different but all else should be sweet. Paradise racing also used to do 2t/3t parts so might be worth a look to see if they have anything.

all 2tc/3tc intake manifolds share the same port spacing and bolt pattern.

early 2tc heads have no egr hole next to the #1 intake port. (71 models i think)

3tc and late 2tc (i think 2tc) have a erg port. only stock manifolds will have the 5th hole for this.

if u have the erg port u will need to block/cover it ether at the start of the port on in intake or exhaust side or take off the erg control valve and plate over were it bolts on.

other than that i havent seen any issue with bolting any type of TC manifold onto another

    so it will work

Does someone have photos of the intake ports for the 2tc 71 head vs 2tc 74 head?
