brakes on ae82 twincam, standard slotted rotors worth it?
hey guys
doing up an 82 twincam for clubdays will be pretty basic, pretty much standard power, tein coilovers, bit of weight saving and 15inch kuhmo ku36 tyres.
i wanted the brakes to be improved abit so was going to go new slotted front and rear rotors ebc red stuff in front and a heavy duty rear pads for rear, i understand that this may not be a massive improvement in performance but i dont want this car to spend more time being worked on then used like all my other projects..
just wanted to know some opinions before i dive in.
also what brake fluid would peole reccomend? i was thing motul rbf600?

Upgrade to ae92 series 2 callipers if you can, not 100% sure what is involved in fitting them, but it couldn't be much effort. Though the pad choice will make a noticable difference once they start to warm up etc. but series 2 callipers will be a massive improvement again.
