    4+4=8

    4 cylinders + 4 throttles = V8 like noise

almost hav the engine out of the s2000. is alot harder then it looks. ive spent like 7 hours trying already and finnaly hav it to the point where its floating in the breeze. but cant pull it out the top cause it hits on the reo bar and cant drop it out the bottom with completly removing the sub frame. but since i dont want to grind anything off so i can still sell the shell ill hav to drop the subframe down and bolt it back up so it can roll agen

so didnt get to work on it for like over a month but last couple weekend ive made some progress. i wont post up all the pics cause that will take ages, but i fitted the motor while lowereing the crossmember 2 inces so i didnt hav to cut outthing out besides the crossmemebr itself. but i didnt like lowering it that much so i cut the tunnel out and now its only lowered 1 inch and the bonnet just clears by about 5 or so millimeters.

so i had to cut the crossmember up to clear the sump, cut out way to much so will do another one later down the track

made mounts out of 2 left hand engine brackets from a 4a and standard 4a rubber mounts

took a while to work out where the center was but i found it eventually

Seeing how tight it is for space, its definitely a good thing you didn't go for the K24 then. They are something like 20mm taller in the block and thats space you really dont have...

    Great to see the progress!

sweet conversion. are you going to close up the crossmember where you cut it ? if you plate over the holes it will give it some strength back.
so much stuff. so little time.
