I'll probably head out for a look - what time do these normally start?
(i've probably asked this before, but I've got a shit memory)
My start no is 4 .Just loaded Sprinter on to trailer. What a shit of a day . 1st while checking car over found a massive fuel leak that wasn't there last week . Had to pull tank out several times , fix a split union that only manifested when tank was in the car and fuel under pressure . Then was checking front end , found a stuffed RHF strut. No time to fix that , should be an interesting drive tomorrow. Only just back from Melbourne , had to detour 100k as the highway was blocked due to a fatal smash.
But I will be there bright EYED & BUSHY TAILED.
1st car starts at 9am , about 10 minutes later ----- YE HA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm back down to No.10, so plenty of rubber down for me pls![]()

Had a great day, got another PB, no rain, good times and good spills (good for spectators anyway)....
It was great to see the GT8 in 'spectacular action'. Real entertainer Justen!

Nice work Jo, awesome time!
My KE25 thread
WSID - 12.8@108mph || Wakefield Park - 1:11.4 || SDMA Hillclimb - 49.1
Yeah Joe was dialled in for sure, the car was looking very composed from what i could see. good work.
The GT8 on the other hand is rubbish, unless it has very new and sticky rubber on the front. I'll have to get it assessed..... while bump steer is excellent, ackerman is woeful and in the tight stuff the front lifts (?) past a certain steering angle and pushes. Not something that effects it too bad at Wakefield and where it does there's enough track to counter with some power oversteer.....that's my excuse anyways![]()

What a great day ---- all did well , whether entertainment or great times . Considering the probs I had yesterday ( see moaning in previous posts ) I had a remarkable day , pipped Mr Browning (Red Mx5 ) to win class , missed class record by 2 hundreds of a second ( bugger ) . Had a wee !!!!! spin , scaring film crew and the noise metre . Had some great slids ( but far from the most spactacular ) Justin !!!!! ???? *****
Bloody great day !!!!!!!!!!!!!! ( must do some maintainence on the poor AE86 , it will make for less stress the day before the event .
Indeed, looked like a great day of fun. Good to see the GT8 in action as always
I didnt take many photos, got there quite late! Might put more up later.

Well i'm glad the GT8 was entertaining for all![]()
One thing i can say without doubt, is that this new E85 tune produces torque/horsepower to burnIt was solid before, but now it's at a whole new level.

The great thing about the GT8 is you can enjoy it from anywhere at the track - plenty of times I just heard it - and that was just as good.
Great day and great times from Joe - very unlucky not to pull out a class win - sooo close! And the times are only going to get better... Bastard.![]()
