All cars with UZ engine conversions get an automatic -25secs on all lap times. Just for being kewl. (Yes, even those that don't compete LOL).

In other news, the long range forecast is not looking good with respect to rain, pondering maybe ling longs are not the best choice now hahah

I'm DOWN for rain. If it rains...I might actually post a competitive time (well...try...)

If not...it's back to the skid tyres for more destructive fun.

Are we still planning to run the shorter tracks (IE without the tree/carpark sections) and run 3 laps at a time?

I'll pop down and say howdy. Hopefully it's not too wet, just enough to be fun

So to get past scrutineering, will a bit of icecream container attached over the +ve terminal of the battery be enough? I have a stupid massive terminal with stereo power cables hanging out of it, so the standard cover doesn't fit.
And I guess I might have to remove my cable-tied HID ballasts for the day?

So long as your battery is secured and your positive terminal doesn't run the risk of touching an earth point, exposed positive terminals should be fine - however you asking the question publicly should be enough to let you decide on the suitability of your arrangement?! Same scenario goes for the HID ballasts.
