He's telling porkies - camber is not affected by wheel choice. Go to a new tyre place.
Where is the wear? are you running enough toe in/too much toe in, does your wife check tyre pressure etc, is she a closet rev head?
Hi guys,
Sorry to post a new thread without much general participation but I am having some issues with my wifes AE102R conquest
I recently got new tyres which are for some 16" wheels that I have fitted to the corolla, however after about 20,000km they are starting to show alot of wear, i had the tyres balanced and the front end one but the gentleman at the tyre shop told me the car is suffering from negative camber due to the extra size wheels, he also said the camber is not adjustable as far as he could see.
I had a quick look under the car and the bottom assembly indeed does not look adjustable
was this guy just telling porkies? or do i need to purchase an adjustable camber kit so I can bring the camber back in.
any help would be greatly appreciated
Regards
Tom

Get a wheel alignment done so you can see if its within spec.
If its lowered im guessing it wont be.
You possibly might need camber correction bolts.
